Poggio Sassineri

The company was bought by my parents in 2003. They fell in love with this land and moved from the province of Milan to Maremma. Already in those years it was an organic farm of 12 hectares with 5 hectares of olive grove and 5 hectares of arable land. With love and passion they have cultivated oil and cereals. In 2014 I joined them with my "young" family and there was a handover from my parents to me. To date the company has added about 2 hectares of arable land and it is three years that the arable land has been divided into small plots to produce different things and market them. Obviously a crop rotation is done and we cultivate, in addition to olives, senator wheat hats, chickpeas, lentils, spelled and soft wheat. In addition to the farm we have a farmhouse of 5 double rooms and we do catering for 30 covers (by reservation only). We offer our guests only km0 products. From this year we have started the activity of certified Tuscan educational farm and for this we have created a small botanical garden.
