Wine and grappaThe Umberto and Bernardo Valle brothers bought the Poggio Trevvalle company in 1998, after having gained years of winemaking experience in Puglia. From the beginning the goal was to produce wines in a traditional way, strongly linked to the territory and in respect of local traditions. Wine is produced following the biological and biodynamic method.
Produce: Morellino di Scansano d.o.c.g., Montecucco Rosso d.o.c. and I.g.t. Tuscany, Red and Rosé.
most of the vineyards, about 10 hectares, has been planted on the southern slope of the hill, the largest and with the lowest slope, su clay loam soils. The wines come from these vineyards wide, round and generous. P>
remaining 3 and a half hectares are on the northern slope, more steep, up slightly more clayey soils, from which come wines with more strength and elegance.
