Poggio Nibbiale

Podere Poggio Nibbiale is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma hills, between Scansano and Magliano. The vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level; the estate offers a spectacular view of the Tyrrhenian and the Tuscan archipelago, with the islands of Giglio, Elba and Montecristo. The farm covers a total area of ​​121 hectares, of which 11 are planted with vineyards. Part of the wine is kept in the precious casket of the company, the ancient cellar adjacent to the church of San Giovanni Battista, the oldest building in Scansano. Elke and Nikolaus Buchheim, owners of the estate, immediately fell in love with these magical places. Their wines are a sincere expression of a splendid terroir and their infinite passion.
