The company was founded in 1998 from an idea by Maurizio Castelli; Simone Castelli, a son with a degree in Agriculture, moved from his hometown of Pistoia, and directly took charge of the management of the company with a view to producing Morellino di Scansano; all the wines born to follow (except the aleatico passito) are instrumental to the qualitative improvement of the Morellino, the rosé is made with young vines coming from naturally fresher areas, the Badilante is obtained from the tanks that at the end of fermentation are more "light" ; clearly the quality and professional ethics is extended to all types of wine.
