The company was established in 2018 thanks to the transfer of the company. Agr di Piccini Adamo. Piccini Adamo remained administrator together with his niece Menchetti Alice.
The company became part of the Piccini family in 1890 when Adamo Piccini, grandfather of the current owner of the company, married Mrs. Filomena Pieri who brought 30 mature and productive Olivastra Seggianese plants as a dowry. Over the years the cultivation, harvesting and pressing techniques have been handed down and improved, constantly seeking the quality of the annual extra virgin olive oil production. With the Protected Designation of Origin “DOP Seggiano”, and the certification of a BIOLOGICAL company. Thanks to agricultural purchases and rents, the company has expanded, also investing in equipment and storage and bottling. Today the company surface is about 8 ha, of which 5.50 ha of olive groves in the Municipality of Seggiano, 98% of which are cultivated with the Olivastra Seggianese cultivar and 2% of pollinators for a total of about 350 plants. To this are added 2,5ha of fruit chestnut in the Arcidosso municipality.
