The young DIEGALE Agricultural Company, conceived and commissioned by Alessandro and Paola, was founded in 2008 in Civitella Marittima (Gr), Podere Sant’Antimo, nestled in the hills of the Tuscan Maremma. The farm develops between 120 m above sea level, on the border with the Lanzo stream, and 280 m. s.l.m for about 40 hectares with an exposure and nature of the lands unquestionably suited to the cultivation of the vine, within the Montecucco DOCG. The agronomic and oenological evaluations are shared and supported by the friends Dott.Agr. Mauro Nosi and the Winemaker Fabrizio Moltard. The view is equally beautiful and evocative with the view from Casal di Pari to Campagnatico passing by Monte Antico, Sant’Angelo (Montalcino), Monte Amiata and Montecucco. The surprisingly mild climate is strongly influenced by the air currents of the valley, which is affected by the temperature changes that occur between the hinterland and the sea (optimal temperature range).
