I profumi dell orto

Our family has no peasant origins but the passion for nature and the desire to find a more sustainable lifestyle has, since we were young, driven to find a place where we can give shape to our dreams. We are Andrea (1986), Camilla (1982) Sirio (2015) and Latika, our cagnolona. We are originally from a country in the province of Milan, where we lived until 2015 doing various jobs and, in the short time, traveling to different farms to learn the trade. But the frenzy and chaos of the city was not for us: we wanted to work outdoors, get our hands dirty, live in a more sustainable and self-sufficient way. Thus the time cuts dedicated to the farms have increased more and more, up to working just the necessary to maintain us. It was then that we made the decision to go in search of the place, traveling throughout Italy and discovering companies in remote and beautiful places until we arrived here, in Maremma. It was not difficult to fall in love with our new home. Silence, tranquility, scents and the beauty of the landscape fascinated us. All this was possible thanks to Anna and Alfeo who, in addition to being our partners, believed in us and in our dream, thanks to friends and relatives who never fail and who help us in all the most important jobs, and thanks to wwofers, volunteer travelers who stop to "taste" some life with us.
