When I retired from my work as a history and Italian teacher, I was able to devote myself to agriculture, in particular to the cultivation of asparagus that I had already experimented in the home garden. I was excited by the rapid growth and vigor with which the plant develops and the possibility of making it grow in a clean manner, that is, with an organic method for the satisfaction of the producer and consumers.
